Our newly renovated (2024) Pioneer Room, is a premium, accessible space located on the second floor of the Centre. Access to it is via stairway or elevator. The primary space is living room-like with large windows and a carpeted floor. There are pot lights throughout for a cozy evening event, while the daytime light flowing through the windows creates a bright space for showers and birthday parties. Its home-style kitchen features a large bar opening into the primary space, laminate flooring, 2 refrigerators (with ice boxes), a stove and a commercial dishwasher. There are 3 washroom facilities (one which is wheelchair accessible).
This space is popular for baby and bridal showers, birthday parties and retreats.

  • 180 with non-fixed seats
  • 146 with non-fixed seats and tables
  • 122 with non-fixed seats and tables, allowing space for dancing or other entertainment.

Basic Rental Rates, includes use of the kitchen (prices subject to change):

  • $175.00 for 4 hours
  • $225.00 for 8 hours
  • Any additional hours are $25.00/hour

Additional Charges and Information (applies to all Room Rentals, subject to change) :

  • A $100.00 ($300.00 for liquor events) refundable damage deposit is required to confirm your booking.
  • For alcohol events, add $50.00 to the basic rental rates
  • All liquor events require approved Smart Serve Bartenders at a rate of $150.00 per bartender. For events with more than 100 people, 2 bartenders are required.
  • Renters are responsible for obtaining liability insurance for all events and Special Events Permits for liquor events. These documents must be provided to us at least 2 weeks before the rental date.
