Our newly renovated (2024 and 2025) Pioneer Room, is a premium, accessible space located on the second floor of the Centre. Access to it is via stairway or elevator. The primary space is living room-like with large windows and a carpeted floor. There are pot lights throughout for a cozy evening event, while the daytime light flowing through the windows creates a bright space for showers and birthday parties. Its home-style kitchen features a large bar opening into the primary space, laminate flooring, 2 refrigerators (with ice boxes), a stove and a commercial dishwasher. There are 3 washroom facilities (one which is wheelchair accessible).
This space is popular for baby and bridal showers, birthday parties and retreats.

Occupancy:

  • 120 with non-fixed seats
  • 110 with non-fixed seats and tables

Amenities: Chairs, 6 ft tables

Basic Rental Rates, includes use of the kitchen (prices subject to change):

  • $200.00 for 4 hours
  • Any additional hours are $25.00/hour

Additional Charges and Information (applies to all Room Rentals, subject to change) :

  • $100.00 refundable* damage deposit is required to confirm your booking.
    *Damage deposit is refundable provided there is no damage to the space/amenities or significant messes to be cleaned in addition to our regular cleaning.

    Our Alcohol Event policy is under review. As of January 1, 2026 we are not accepting any rentals that would include alcohol service.
