Irene’s Gentle Yoga Class is back with 2 time slots to choose from this winter!

Irene’s yoga classes are among the most popular in Thunder Bay. She designs them to gently help you build and maintain strength and flexibility. In each class, she guides you through a series of moves that will leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated! For novices and experienced yogis, this program is for you!

Space is limited, so be sure to register early!

*Please note that the daytime class is an hour later than our previous session, so you’ll have time to clear off your car and navigate the wintery roads!

Great music, great moves and a lot of fun! Join Charlene as she leads you through this dynamic fitness class that focuses on a balance between cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance and flexibility! This class is for adults of all ages and suitable for active older adults! Participants should be prepared to “go to the mat” to gain the best benefits from the core and flexibility exercises.

This gentle program is designed for older adults who are looking for a basic strength, stretch and balance program that will support their healthy aging.

Each day, we focus on improving functional strength and movement using light handweights, bands and balls. It’s a “go at your own pace”, do what you can and try new things program all wrapped up into a supportive and fun atmosphere!

This program is led by Charlene Rogers, our centre coordinator.
