I am Sharon Clark, and I am very excited to get to know all the wonderful people involved in the North McIntyre Recreation Centre.
I grew up in Thunder Bay, but left after I completed my high school career and moved to the Northern Ireland. There, I raised my family, learned many hobbies, did much travelling, did a little acting, and started my journey as a Chakradance Facilitator.
I came to Chakradance after a prolonged illness left me in a bed for over a year and I used it first as a tool to regain my mobility, then to help me feel at home with the body that had worked very hard to keep me around. Now I have the privilege to share this unique form of exercise and mediation with others.
I am also a passionate fibre artist, working with yarn, thread and fabric to create what I call little moments in time. I hope that I can contribute to the wonderful community spirit that welcomes everyone when they come to the centre.
